Day 1 – The arrival of the car

The car arrived today – It’s good that the car is being converted. It arrived with jet black smoke pouring out of the exhaust. The engine was shot with over 260,000km on it. Trunk was filled with empty oil cans, and the two had their work cut out for them. Cleaning it.

It's not pretty, but it's solid.

It's not purdy, but atleast it has a solid frame

After it had been cleaned out, it looked a bit better, but the body was still fairly… ugly. There had been some bad bodywork done on it in a previous life – it had multiple owners before it came to our posession. Jamie had already begun planning paint schemes and things to do for the bodywork. After playing with bondo, and fiberglass resin, he was up to the challenge.
